Karen Ireland celebrated the millennium by establishing her dance centre in Lismore, NSW. Since then Karen has taken budding students from all disciplines and watched and nurtured their growth in the dance world.

K.I.D.C. alumni have gone on to hold contracts with Queensland ballet Company, Ballet Dortmund Germany, Melbourne City Ballet, Royal Danish Ballet Company, Tokyo Disneyland.

 

Karen trained in BBO and the RAD syllabi and also with Sydney City Ballet with Tanya Pearson, as well as the Kelvin Grove QUT dance program. As well as dancing for many years professionally overseas Karen taught extensively for 3 years in the USA.
